MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Lamar Elementary - home of the Harvesters! We are excited to welcome all 2nd and 3rd grade students in Pampa into our school family! The staff at Lamar are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive learning environment that challenges all students with high expectations for academic and personal growth. We will create opportunities for your students to engage in exciting and authentic activities that foster a love for school.

We want to see all of our students develop the “Harvester Spirit” which is Show Up, Work Hard, Serve Others. At Lamar Elementary, we will be contributors to our school family and to our community and will strive for excellence in all of these areas. Our school family will have integrity, resilience, and good stewardship as we model the “Harvester Spirit” every day.

When you get a chance, please look through the student handbook and other documents on the website. If you have any questions, please stop by or call the office. We have numerous opportunities for family and community members to volunteer and support our mission at Lamar. Please partner with our school family and become involved in making Lamar a leading elementary school in the Texas Panhandle! If you are interested and available to support the school as a VIP, please contact the office at Lamar or PISD Central Administration.

We view your child’s education as a partnership between the community, home, and school. Please know we want to support your family in any way possible and are excited to partner with you and students.
