Students at Lamar are going to be stepping up into leadership roles on campus. The LAMAR Way Team has asked fourth and fifth grade Bobcats to apply for this role. Students will have to fill out applications explaining what it means to them to be a leader. They will also have to get a letter of reccommendation from a current or former teacher. This process is going to not only show the motivation of some of our Bobcats, but it will allow them to have some real world experiences. These future leaders will be working on learning more about being a leader, participating in community service and outreach opportunities, as well as serving the campus and district in many different ways. We are excited to be brining back a student leadership opportunity and can’t wait to see what wonderful things they will learn!
